Carver’s stalwart friend through the years, The Bank of New Canaan, is this week, November 14 – 18, inviting the New Canaan community and beyond to join them in a turkey drive for Norwalk’s families in need. There are two ways to donate a turkey:
1. Drop off a frozen turkey to the Carver Community Center between 1-5pm, or
2. Bring a Bank of New Canaan certificate, available at either of their two branches, to Walter Stewarts Market to purchase as 12-15 pound turkey for the Carver Center program.
More than 200 families have signed-up to receive the Carver Thanksgiving food baskets. Many other donors are donating canned and boxed food to give each family an abundant Thanksgiving meal with the turkey as the main course.
Carver is community. Thank you for being such a vital part of the Carver community.
